    Wrong Neck Expander?

I reloaded some 7.62x54R with .308 bullets. I just discovered that I used the 308 expander instead of the 306 after I seated most of the bullets.
The question is, is my batch ruined? Do I need to pull the bullets and re-size? Or is my batch at least safe to shoot?

If the bullets can not be moved in the case by hand they should be good.
I doubt you will see any real difference in accuracy.
However, I would load them single shot as recoil could cause them to move.
If they are sloppy in the case, remove bullets, pour the powder into a separate container, resize the case with the decap pin removed.
Back the die off a bit so you only neck size the case.
Re-measure the powder back into case, seat the bullets and bob's your uncle.

7.62x54R should either use the .308 or .312 expander. Since you used .308 bullets, the expander should match.

30/06 is the same size as .308 they both use a .308 bullet,no problem at all.

I can push the bullets into the cases by hand with only a little pressure (DANG-IT!). I'll have to pull them and re-size the necks. Good thing I enjoy reloading!
