    Any idea about shipping cost from Samco?

    I sent e-mail to their customer support, but they are famous for being very slow!

    Finally, got an answer from them:

    Thank you for your inquiry. Here are shipping costs for 600 rds of 8mm and per case:

    1) 67 dollars for sending 600 rds to your location
    2) 110 dollars for sending a case (will be split in two packages 66 lbs each) to your location.

      That's incredible. Are they shipping it in a limo? Seriously, that is one of the reasons I started purchasing from Century- too bad they no longer sell to CA. J&G sales is also a good place; since they are in AZ the shipping is lower and their website quotes you real time.
      Check back later for a witty comment.

          And here I thought CMP was kinda high. I know the CMP is probably just barely covering their shipping costs, but that Samco estimate takes the cake!

            yea, the idea was to buy, shoot and keep brass for reloading.

            Anyone with reloading experience with this manufacture?

            8mm MAUSER BALL (7.92x57JS)

            Mfg. Hirtenberger Patronen, Austria, '80s, FMJ, NC/BO (reloadable) 197 gr. Boattail. Packed 20 rds per box. 1920 rds per case. Wt. 132# per case.

            * 36.9 cents per Round
            * 200 rds $ 73.80
            * $ 689.28 per case
            * 5 cases or more: $ 670.08 per case
