    x856 bullets

Well I got my wideners email and it had pulled tracer bullets in it
    x856 62gr tracers

I know tracer ammo is not allowed here in the state of California
but would the bullets themselves unassembled be illegal?
similar to the idea of "rebuild/parts kits" if the parts themselves are separated
    or
would it be like AR15 and constructive possession with not having a pistol lower but having a pistol/sbr upper?

here is the item in question
Widener's Reloading and Shooting Supply has ammo and reloading supplies for sale at cheap prices. Find out why we're the best deal on the web today!

No I do not plan on getting any, just merely want the knowledge

yes. they are illegal!!! just the projectile is a no-no. have them shipped to a buddy in AZ or anywhere else not called CA....load them out there and have a blast! just dont bring it back!

if you have not shot tracer yet, i would recommend it. just do it legally.

    happy shooting

P.C. 12301 Here's the section for the tracer ammunition:

        CHAPTER 2.5. DESTRUCTIVE DEVICES

12301. (a) The term "destructive device," as used in this chapter, shall include any of the following weapons:
        (1) Any projectile containing any explosive or incendiary material or any other chemical substance, including, but not limited to, that which is commonly known as tracer or incendiary ammunition, except tracer ammunition manufactured for use in shotguns.
