7mm Rem Mag bullet suggestions

Going to start loading 7mm Rem Mag for a new Savage 111 I just picked up but don't know a whole lot about this caliber yet. Been looking around at the usual suspects i.e Spears, Nosler, Hornady, and I think that the Hornady 154gr SST is the route I'm going to go. I was wondering what your input was.

Specs:
24in Barrel
1/9.5 twist rate

Looking for 2900-3100 fps (depending on the Lyman's load book)

Expected game Boar, Deer, Elk. Maybe a coyote or five.

Several friends and myself shoot the 7mm Rem Mag and tried many bullets. Some just shot thru the deer without killing them and such. We settled on Nosler 140gr PAR bullets and have not lost a single animal since. I have friends in Wy and Montana who use this bullet or the 145gr BT Speer bullet for everything including elk. We tried the 160gr bullets and they did not work.

I might go to the 140gr Swift A-Frame if loading for elk as an hedge bet but I would feel ok with the Nosler 140gr PAR bullet. Try it and I think you will like the results. Plus push them faster for less range guestimate.

I shoot the 140 grain Barnes TSX in mine using H4831.

I loaded for the 7 mag years ago. The one thing I remember is that I had to use MAGNUM primers for everything. Regular primers frequently gave me a very unpleasant glick-pause-bang hangfire. I was going for reduced loads to start with. I should have used H4895 but I think I used 4064 at the time. It was mid-70s to early 80s, so it was a while back.

I've been loading for the 7mm RM for over 30 years. My current favorite is the 160 grain Nosler Accubond over a lot of Retumbo with a mag primer. Elk hate this load.

ETA: IMR 7828 SC works well too.

I've had a 140g Partition stopped by an elk's shoulder bone on the wrong side.

I've got a buddy pushing me hard on the Nosler combined technology, he runs them in his 300WM. Thank you all for your input, I'm sure I'll be back once my dyes show up.

The Nosler Combined Technology is nothing more than a coated Nosler Ballistic Tip. It will start to break apart at impact speeds greater than 3K fps whereas a Partition or an Accubond will hold together at much higher speeds.

Not so true! 257 Weatherby 100 grain NBT @3600fps
257 STW 100 grain NBT @ 4000 fps
and there are plenty more.
Yes the Accubond and Partition are tuffer bullets but the BT will not break apart.

I like barnes because there design but im still in the process of developing a load that works for me, so for now i shoot boxed 150 gr power point.
