I just started reloading, and one fired about 2,000 rounds of 45 ACP so far I researched alot (ALOT) and ended going with a Dilllon 650 with case feeder and powder check die Bought the fancy RCBS electronic scale with powder dispenser. VERY pleased with the 650 and the scale.

I skimped on the reloadng bench. Get a solid reloadng bench. It makes a huge difference. Shaky bench sucks and creates inefficiencies.

Have not used the powder dispenser, so, for now, that was a waste of money.

The Dillon case feeder is necessary but a peice of crap. Just about all of my production disruptions come from the crappy casefeeder; but dont know how you get along without it.

Very pleased I got the powder check die. I had one squib with the first batch, before i installed the powder check die. I *thought* I was checking every round, too. So, for now it's providing me with some reassurance.

If you do any competiton, chamber check every round. I'm havng about a 2-4% "failure" rate, and that translate into a misfeed/problem every 3 or so magazines. And thats not good... Learned that the hard way.

Get a bullet puller. I have about 100 rounds that I need to dismantle.
