    Low cost #00 buck mold????

Started looking around for a #00 buck mold and the damn things are expencive. I figures I would check Lee items they are usaully a great price. They want $50 - $60 and that doesn`t include handles or shipping.

Anyone know of a low cost mold or have one they want to sell cheap? Any info would be great. Thanks. I`m in Orange County

Your best bet but ubber slow in casting is the Lee mold .319 round ball mold. It's a shy .10" lesser in diameter from .330. It only has 2 cavity. You can purchase one for less than $20 plus shipping. Midway and Graf's carries the mold.

I would look at sling shot molds. I saw a website that sold an 8 cavity sling shot mold for dirt cheap that was almost exactly the size of #00 shot.

you will be saving quite a bit by casting your own - just pony up and spend the $50. The Lee mold is well worth it in time saved, plus you are going to get nicer shot as the lee pellets separate very nicely

Agreed. I`ve been researching and the other molds are either 2 shot at a time and cost about $40 so I figured I would just pay the $60 and get 18 shot at a time. Thanks for all the info.

Well I ordered my #00 mold from Midway today along with a few other items. I was going to my Lee Load all 2 also but they are backordered until the end of the month. I guess that will give me time to make all my shot and get the rest of the stuff I need to start reloading.
