You got off lucky...I was depriming some 223 the other day and my cat started eating some of the spent primers that had fallen on the ground. Wife didn't freak out too bad but I really have to keep new primers where he can't find them and lock him out when I am working on brass.
He seems to be OK.

You put an assembled cartridge in the cavity in that hammer and smack it against a hard surface. The force will cause the bullet to come out of the case.
Good to have if you screwed up some loads. You can also use your single stage press and some padded pliers to pull bullets.Comment

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

I was wondering about that, I am going to have to pack a 22PPC round for one of my rifles but I have dies for many common types as well so I was thinking about packing all of my own ammo. All of the equipment was passed down by my grandfather inlaw, I have never rloaded anything myself before though.
