can somebody explain this to me?

Test Barrel (16") Velocity (fps) / Energy (ft-lbs)
    MUZZLE | 100 | 200 | 300 | 400 | 500
    2810/1052 | 2495/829 | 2201/645 |1927/495 |1677/374 |1454/282
    Trajectory (inches)
    MUZZLE / 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500
    -1.80 / 1.90 / 0.00 / -9.20/ -27.70 / -58.80

does the Trajectory mean that at 100 yards it'll drop almost 2 inches?

what joelogic said and in addition the chart shows that the weapon is zeroed for 200m (or ft depending). the rest of the breakdown is just saying what the bleed-off, if you will, for the projectile based off of gravity, temp, humidity and so on (the formulas for this are a little beyond me).

at 100 yards it will be 2 inches high. At 200 it will be zeroed, at 300 it will drop 9

I assume its out of an AR? Remember, the sites are so high on those that the bullet is over 2" low the second it leaves the barrel. The bullet actually crosses the line of sight twice, as pictured in the graph above. Where it crosses the second time, onthe way down, is typically the "zero." But, with the bullet crossing the line of sight twice, in reality, you have two "zeros." This brings up the point of why I like a 100 yard zeros on AR's, not the 200 military zero. With the 100 yard zero you always know you bullet is going to be between 2" low to zero all the way between the muzzle and 175 yards. Thats easy to remember and within typical iron site ranges. The military zero, sometimes your 2 inches low, then your 2 inches high, then your 2 inches low again out to about 225 yds. Too complicated for me. Works fine for the military shooting human sized targets.

The muzzle is 2 inches below the sights.

The 200 yard zero works for me since we generally shoot at either 45 yards or 200 yards.. if you are on at 200, you are typically on at about 45 yards.. and within 2" out to 200..

                wow! thanks guys.

so is this why when i fired an AR-15 at 100 yards aiming at the mid-torso i would get slightly lower stomach shots?

If you are aiming at the chest and hitting the stomach at 100. IMO, You need to rezero the rifle for your sight picture. The candle picture may not be where the rifle was orginally sighted. If Zeroed at 200, You should be hitting 1.5" high at 100. If zeroed at 100, You will hit 1.5" low at 200. If you have a 9" drop at 100. Either sight picture of POI is off. My 2 cents...
