Does anyone know where I can find some .308 AP ammo? Been trying to find some but havent had any luck.

try gunbroker. I have never seen any significant quantity for sale so I doubt there is a lot out there.

Ive been going to gun shows for 30+ years. They used to have 5 gallon buckets of tungsten core AP for sale for 30 dollars. Now they cost 3 dollars each on GB.

GB is the only place I know of. I have seen them go through 2 inches of normal steel plate from 50 yards.

Recall that during the reign of GHW Bush, some guy was found shooting a Contender in .308, the anti gunners of the period succeeded in banning the import of surplus Euro NATO .308 because it was designated surplus "hand gun" ammo.

Bizarre enough, BUT..

Since .308 is now "handgun ammo" to the ATF, if you have any .308 AP, you possess armor piercing handgun ammo, and go away for a long time...

You can have 'bout any kind of 30 cal AP you can think of EXCEPT .308.

Be careful out there..
