    Quick reloading bench question

How high off the floor is the top of your reloading bench? 36", 38", etc.

    Reloading should be enjoyable.

36", but my Dillon is on a 9" strong mount. When I remodel my garage I'm going with standard 36" kitchen cabinets around the whole thing.

    Sort of like this style:

I have one that's 36", one that's 38" and another that's 40". I would go 36 - 38" and use a strong mount. Assuming you will be using Dillon 550 or 650 presses like the masses.

My bench is 44" tall. My Dillon is mounted on a strong mount. My Rockchucker is mounted right to the bench top. I can't sit while reloading, I like to stand up, so the height is just perfect to my liking. I'm 6'2" tall.

              36"+

I make the legs on all my workbenches the standard 36 inches. Then I consider the tabletop thickness a bonus, whatever it ends up being.

I'm 6'3". They say 36 inches is the standard so I use the extra couple inches. Sometimes I end up hunched over, and sometimes I'm sitting down and it's too tall. But more often than not, I'm at a good height, sitting or standing.

RS press mounted directly to the table and I have to stand to prime. I usually sit for all other press activities, but standing works fine too. Whatever suits the mood for that day.
