Show me your brass catching solutions, please...

So I've been using a UTG brass catcher for a while, and I think I'm about over it. The damn thing kinks and starts causing jams with the weight of just a few casings in it. I had tried a cardboard box, but that didn't seem to work out so well.
If you've got a unique and/or effective solution, please post a pic or description. I think what would be ideal for me is something that simply deflects and drops the brass straight down onto the bench top.

http://www.ctkprecision.com/brasscatcher.aspx I've used this off the bench and it's been fine. I have another one that telescopes up and down.

For Ar-15 / AR-10 type rifles, I've taken the leg pocket off of an old set of BDU's that were being thrown out. I poke a small hole in the top two corners of the pocket and thread through a heavy duty rubber band. I take the rubber bands and slip them over the objective and the eyepiece ends of the scope.

The pocket hangs and lies next to and covers the ejection port area of the rifle. When the rifle is fired, the cartridge is ejected and hits the cloth pocket. The brass drops nearly straight down on the bench or on the ground if shooting prone, leaving a nice pile of brass. Because a bit of gas get blows out of the ejection port, the pocket blows out a bit and does not interfere with the functioning of the rifle.

I suppose any type of medium to heavy cloth will work if cut to the size of a BDU cargo pocket.

I see a lot of people with fishing nets attached to some sort of stand and looks to work real well. I use the UTG brass catcher on an AR and works well if you perch up the end of the bag up on some ammo boxes or something similar.

I made a rectangular sleeve to keep my UTG catcher from collapsing. The sleeve extends into the netting area and I leave the zipper open so the brass drops straight down about 4" out from the ejection port. I copied the idea from somewhere, but I don't remember where.
