i have been by industrial metals in sun valley, its just south of the 5 off penrose. They have had assorted scrap for .70 a pound occasionally. I woulda bought it, but i allready had about 1200 lbs of lead

I got a big box o lead from a regular at cast boolits. Good stuff, little hockey puck size . 60$/60+# shipped I think.

Check your area Craigslist under "sporting, general, or material" sections. From time to time someone is selling scrap lead for $1 a pound.
