    RCBS RC Supreme question...

I'm setting up my Rock Chucker, and installing the Hornady LnL bushing adapter and had a question...when in normal use, should the RC press "cam over" or should the shell holder just solidly hit the die. (This will be used for AR style .223 and .308 ammo.) I want to measure and shim the conversion busing so my dies will work in both my LnL progressive as well as the RC press without much, if any adjustments.

    Thanks,
    Mark

sometimes you dont want it to cam over, you only want to set the die so the cases will chamber in your rifle and thats it. anymore then that is not needed.

screw die in and back off a 1/4-1/2 a turn lock it down, take a case and size it, then try to chamber it in the rifle you are sizing that case for, if it goes in with no problems you are good to go, if not turn the die down 1/16th of a turn, and repeat tell the case chambers easy.

they sell tools for this so you dont have to go through the above
