Damn! I just spent a tad over $400 in fixing my truck. I can only dream of ordering at this point. Thanks for posting the good news though.

Anybody in Sacramento want to get in on this? I don't need primers, but I'm putting together a group purchase of powder and still have room for these and some powder.

PM me if you're in need of 5000 CCI primers but don't want to put in an order for just that. I can probably save you most if not all of the shipping costs and you'd be saving a few fellow CalGunners on the Hazmat.

          But damn, $30+ per box?

If I just bought 5000 Russian primers instead at $15-20 per box, the difference would cover both shipping and hazmat.

          Just a thought.

Some people won't use wolf or Tula.

I was stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that $30 dollar price tag!!!!

Where did you get that good deal on the Russian stuff?

Was going to wait for the Glendale Gun show in November. 2 shows ago, the prices was $21 and change per thousand. (winchester)

Several of the Wolf primers are $15.50/1000 at Powder Valley...

Have you bought CCI primers locally lately? $35 - $45/1000

Not sure why. That is all I use now and have had about one misfire every 2000 rounds. I have loaded about 40,000 large and small pistol Tula and Wolf primered cartridges. They are hard and have only had problems in my 625 which has been fixed to light them off 100% so far.

I am passing on this as well, I save more money when buying wolf/tula in bulk.

Take the hazmat fee out of the equation and you are paying about the same as the last crossroads of the west gun show. I believe they were $26/1000 there and all of their powder was more expensive by a buck or two... plus I had to pay $10 to get in.

As for tula and wolf... I seem to have bad luck with those each time I have used them. I'd rather go with CCI or Win, I have great luck with them.
