CCI Primers - BR or not?

At Grafs, 5000 CCI SRP are $115. The CCI BR (bench rest) are $190 per 5000. Does anyone know if the BR's are that much more consistent/accurate?

I don't mind spending the extra $75 if it's worth it.

You have to be using a supremely accurate rifle to notice the difference.

I don't own a good enough rifle to notice the difference. And if I did I'm not good enough to notice the difference either. So I stick with the cheaper ones.

Bench rest primers of course are more uniform with each other. If you take the steps to precisely check powder weights, chamfer flash holes, use bench rest dies, check bullet run out, ext ext. Then it would be worth paying extra for bench rest primers. I use BR primers now f

Continued>> for some loads but I can make some accurate ammo with standard primers too.

Alright, thanks guys, totally answered my question. I'm not that accurate nor is my rifle. I AM however seeking better accuracy out of it and am going through all the components that would affect accuracy.

            Thanks again!

Well I use the cci-br exclusively and they are very accurate if all else is good. I ran a test this morning with some loads and everything else was the same except the primers. One cartridge had cci-br's and the other had some Wolf standard primers. The cci group was almost half the wolf group.

Those tight group shots I posted a day or so ago were both with cci-br primers.
