Just got back from Angeles reloadin

I had read so many negative comments about the service there and especially about one particular employee there named Rolf I believe. I had pretty much decided I would not be going there because I just don't have much patience when it comes to being treated poorly. But after striking out trying to find a certain powder on my first stop I went and picked up my new Beretta and found myself in the neighborhood of Angeles and decided I was going to give it a shot and that I was going to do my damnedest to make it pleasant. As I opened the door and right away I found it much smaller than I had expected and then there....., straight ahead staring right at me was the dreaded Rolf. Well I dashed behind the first Isle and started looking around. I was actually surprised by the amount of selection they had and some of the prices were actually cheaper than I had found on the internet. Well I browsed as long as I could and managed to fill up my arms with all kinds of goodies that I had not come in for and finally made my way to the counter and Rolf to ask for the powder. I have got to say, Rolf could not have been more helpful and heck he even smiled. I actullay had a very pleasant visit and will be returning soon, I might even hope that Rolf is there next time. Anyway if anyone has been avoiding the place like I was due to what you have heard, I say go ahead and give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised.

You went in with the right attitude. You'd be surprised how that can help!!

I still prefer to buy online, their prices are steep!

For the most part I agree, but I found a tumbler for less than I was able to find online. They had some very reasonably priced items when you add shipping or hazmat to the online price they are even closer, But mostly it's nice sometime to go and touch things and then bring it home with you.

I always drop by after a shooting session, I don't know the names of the guys there but I never had a problem. I use Hornady bullets and not counting shipping, their prices are reasonable and sometimes better.

They are getting alot of complaints about Rolf and his bad customer service skills and I believe he was warned to shape up or ship out by the management.

                        Hmmmmm

Now that explains why he wouldnt help me when I slammed open the door and yelled HEY AZZHOLE wheres the powder.

All kidding aside Rolf helped me a lot when I needed some benchrest advice. He is a bit short on some things but its just his nature. I had no problem with him at all.

So you made a Preemptive Sales Purchase comment to set the tone!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

When I bought my press there I found Rolf to be a little "rough with his attitude" but the more stuff I added to the counter the nicer he got, by the end of my purchase he was my best friend and extremely helpful (it only cost $1,500). 2 weeks later I went back and bought more stuff and still a nice guy.

I am guessing he gets tired of people walking in and shopping and then going online and buying after they fondled it at the store, because I have not had any issues with Rolf although both my wife and daughter noticed the attitude change as I started putting things on the counter to buy. I will continue to buy from him, he is 2 hours away but I get in that area about once a month and will continue to take a detour each time in L.A., I find the prices there to be very good if you include shipping, etc. in the mail order, worth keeping a local place in business.
