Its kind of sad that this is how our state works but I figure if Ive got a gun in my hands and I e need to pull the trigger what comes out is definitely gonna be lethal.

It is fine if you shoot with lethal ammo to stop the attack and you kill with your shots but if you shoot with your first shots and he stops the attack and you shoot again to kill you will be charge with murder... that is all I am saying. Also it will be bad for you if they are shot in the back.

The first round being less leathal will help you in court which you will most likely be going to wether you wound or kill.

If that's not a professional legal opinion (lawyer, DA, judge) then please offer some justification.

Sounds like you just need some pepper spray / mace. It might sting their eyes though so you better keep an eye wash station handy as well. Wouldn't want them to get hurt while trying to hurt you.

Better yet, take a course in Smooth Talk'n and just talk your way out of the situation. As a backup course, take Introduction to Begging On Your Knees!

I understand threre's frangible ammo out there designed to penetrate only one layer of drywall and stop. I'm sure you'll be able to find that. Guessing not 12 gauge, but I'm sure you will manage.
