GMXs are not V-MAXs. The GMXs are lead free which explains the pricetag. And, I would bet they would still be too long for mag length loading.

The specs says the 70 gr vmax is "California Compatible". So, what does this mean???

I don't get why they have not make a heavier BT I would like a 69 gr BT it would have more power and be accurate further out. It would make a great defensive round for all the 1:9 AR out there

yeah I know I load them the terminal ballistics suck!
We did a water test using gallons of water at 400 yards and the 60gr VMAX went in fragged! and went out the back making a huge hole. When we shot it with the 69 SMK at that range it did noting but yaw a bit. The V max family make huge holes into soft targets
