.308 Price

Hey all,

I ran into a guy this weekend who swore up and down that he could get 1000 rounds of .308 for $70. I, naturally, called shenanigans. But he insisted and said that he has a "source" that was able to get Australian milsurp for that cheap. I am almost positive that he is full of it, but I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and post up here to check. So, is this remotely possible?

Im calling BS on 70/k. More like 70/100rd battle pack or OFB that's been sitting in the sun for 4 years.

South African = 140 rounds

Portuguese = 200 rounds

I'll take a 4000 at that price too, but it will never happen.. I would call BS on him..

Offer to give him some money and see what happens / excuse he uses on you and why he cant get you any..
