    reloading .380 acp

    Hi can I reload 380 acp with a 9mm set up?

    Reloading .380 ACP is just about the same as reloading 9mm, but you need dies SPECIFICALLY for .380 ACP. 9mm sizing dies are too long and won't resize .380 cases properly.

      That what I was thinking but someone sad I can use the same dies as the 9mm just got to readjust the dies

        Nope. Shell plate is different, too.

          NO 9mm is a tapered case, .380 is straight wall. You could probably get away with the expander and seating/crimp die, but not the sizing die. Just buy the Lee .380 set, they're cheap and good!

          Oh yeah the shell holder is different from 9mm as well (.380 base size is same as .223 Rem though).
