Bullet pullers

I have an ammo can full of .45 wad cutters my uncle gave me, problem is they get hung up in my springfielfd XD, since there's a but load of them I want to get a bullet puller to extract the bullets and melt them down to make them round nose instead.

Do I just get a puller for .45 or measure the bullet diameter and get one that way?

I have an RCBS kinetic puller. It looks like a hammer and works for most (if not all) calibers. So far, I've used it for .223, .45, and others inbetween.

Most XD45's don't like WC's or SWC's.
