If you are buying for knowledge of reloading, then the ABC's of reloading is hard to beat. Most reloading manuals give you a couple dozen pages on the subject. The rest of the manuals are for the load data. The ABC's devotes pretty much the whole book on the subject. You can thumb through the book on the Barnes and Noble website to preview it.
It wouldn't hurt to have the Lyman manual, but it is sometimes frustrating to look for a particular bullet type and powder and find that it is not in a manual, that's not just Lyman, it's any manual.
