    Primer problem

Bought 1000 winchester large rifle primers at the OC gun show a little while back...least so I thought, i just now realized they are large pistol and magnum primers, i have already made plenty of reloads with them and they fired perfectly fine, i have about 130 reloads already loaded with these primers as well.

My question is, is this a serious problem? is it going to be ok to fire again?

Obviously I will not continue using the worng primer, however i just want to make sure that it is safe to fire the reloads i have already made.

    Thanks!

yes the worst that can happen is that it wont burn all the power and the cup is softer

if you are not using max powder charge you will be fine, just back off the powder charge a little if you are going to use them at max powder.

rifle primers are a little hotter for slow burning powders.
