    Hornady customer service

Is completely and unequivocally the best I've ever seen. I broke a part on my LNL AP and they diagnosed it in two min. and had the part shipped out the same day at no cost to me. This was at 4:30pm EST. (They were technically closed and working after hours)

This part was broken clearly because of my trying to muscle out a half decapped primer.

I was a huge fan before, and I'm an even bigger fan now!

Yes, Hornady is a pleasure to deal with. Hornady processed and shipped out my free bullets much faster than I thought they would. Unlike rebates from many other companies, Hornady does it right!

But, my dealing with Lee's Precision and RCBS have also been very positive. In general, the reloading industry has a very nice group of companies to serve their customers.

Great if you call, not so good via email. I've yet to have them reply. Oh, they're on central time, so it was an hour before closing.

Purchased a used LNL AP from a calgunner. Older one, 4XX serial number. Called and told them I had an older model and needed a few parts since they were missing when I purchased it. I told them I would pay for the parts and they said nope. Free of charge, on their way tomorrow. Nice.

I've also dealt with Dillon & RCBS customer service. Same thing. Very good.

I agree, great CS. I have not had any problems with email (my only means of communication with them), maybe I have just been just lucky.

I've dealt with three other reloading equipment companies (RCBS, Lee and Dillon) and they have all had outstanding customer service.

We need to test the rest of them and see if it's industry wide.

I had great experiences both ways. Via email they get back to me within 24 hours everytime.

All of my dealings with Hornady CS have been 100% positive. Technical questions answered and then some by the their tech. I even ended up with a out of spec Horn shellholder (a 5 dollar part mind you) and was just going to call to give them a heads up that it did not fit in their handprimer, but worked in the press. Their CS guy said hold on, got the shellholder, measured it and then told me it should be .510 in height. Mine was .517. He got my info, sent one out and said "send back the bad one when your new one arrives"...The one he sent, he pre measured himself before sending....Again, a 5 buck part....Hornady knows what CS is about (their phone directory is definitely not the norm...I like it)

About a year ago, I contacted Hornady by Email telling them I was interested in buying a replacement powder dispenser tube because mine was discolored and swollen from leaving powder in it for a long time. Without any questions they Emailed me back in two days and asked for my mailing adress. They sent me out a new tube for free even being that the damage was a result of my laziness by now dumping out the powder after use. I give Hornady two thumbs up for there great customer service for sure!!!!

Broken hub drive. It's in the center of the sub plate that the shell plate rides on. The little index key broke off.
