If you are anything like me it gives you 5 chances to make a mistake with every pull of the handle.

You could keep the LCT and just sell off your duplicate dies.
The LCT can handle taller cases and you can also run it as a single stage. Food for thought...

Progressive is the way to go if you are loading pistol ammo. The speed can't be beat.

Congrats on the new press, but don't sell the turret.

I kinda do currently run it as single stage, since i manually loaded the cases as i did not have a charging die.

Do you know what the difference is in case lengths the ltc can handle as opposed to the progressive?

I plan to do 9, 45, 223, and some day 357 on it.

got that right! one pull yielding one completed round once its started off, hard to beat.

also, i hear some guys have their presses running off hydraulic or otherwise mechanized rams. Now that is effin hardcore!

i was thinking about keeping it just cause its so usefull and i wouldnt get much for it anyway. They are about $75 brand new on ebay.

The listing just said that this package i bought is missing the case feed tubes. Looks like im gonna have to find some, maybe see if lee can hook them up. Will the same tubes work for 9 and .45?

The Pro 1000's are aimed primarily at handgun reloading. For rifle cases, you can do the .223 family and its wildcats, or the 7.62x39 (and its wildcats, if any), due to length. But you're not going to be doing .308 Winchester on it unless you remove the auto-indexing rod.

The Classic Turret, on the other hand, will happily handle anything short of the .50 BMG family.

I'd suggest keeping both. While I reload my SAAMI-spec .45 Colt rounds on a Pro 1000, my ".45 Colt Magnum" rounds get loaded on the LCTP. Why? Because the turret and powder measure are already set up and ready to go.
