Love lee precision for great cust svc.

So i call them and an american sounding woman picks up (no machine, no press this for that) and asks how she may help. I inform her that my lee turret press is missing an index rod from when i bought it from a private party, and she takes my info and says it will be mailed out tomorrow. No charge.

Now, i know dillon is top of the line, and u cant compare a bmw to a toyota/lexus (i love my ES, mine goes really fast sometimes Even when i dont want it too ), but i love the value and cust svc u get from lee. Kudos to lee precision. One of the last few real american companies.

I have the same experience with them just last week. I was told the same thing and the large primer assy. was mailed to me free of charge. I intended to mention it here because the lady who answered the phone was just great and very friendly.

I have also had great CS with different reloading companies. I have had to have warranty work with Redding, Lee and Hornady. All of them had my parts shipped no questions asked within 24 hours.

My last request from Hornady, they sent me a 3pack of the retainer spring and a 2 pack or pawls. When I stripped, then broke a hex bolt on the press, they sent me a call tag via UPS. They are paying for shipping both ways and fixing the broken bolt.

Yup, Lee Precision customer support is courteous, professional, and no hassle. I told them I broke a couple of things on my press and they sent the replacements right away. A+++.

BTW, RCBS has excellent customer service as well. I messed up my hand primer and they fixed it for free (except the return postage).

It's a relatively small hobby, people talk a lot about the kind of service they receive, and the companies know it. Most of these companies have been around so long they remember when word of mouth was the best advertising available.

Not many industries have that kind of motivation for customer service, or have even been around long enough to remember what it is. Fortunately, reloading is in that small category, usually.

I've had excellent customer service from nearly all the reloading equipment companies. Even when you wear something out or break it and call to buy parts, they send replacement parts No Charge...... Awesome.

The ONLY somewhat negative experience I had was with RCBS. I had an impact bullet puller which I very sparingly used, as prescribed (always on wood, etc). There was a defect in the molding, as the head broke clean off. I called them and explained what occurred, they wanted pictures, which I emailed to them. I called afterward and they agreed it was a defect as it should never break that clean but they wanted me to sent it to them and then they would send a replacement. In the end it wasn't worth $9 in shipping to get a $15 replacement.
                        Luck favors the prepared.
