Weapons World question

Anyone ordered from them before?

I placed an order 2 weeks ago and it is listed as on-hold.

Have sent 2 emails and left 1 voice mail and have yet to get a reply.

The web site says the items are in stock so not sure if they are just slow shippers or what.

This is shipping to Oakland, CA.

Anyone else had a similar issue?

I have had thousands of rounds shipped from them. They usually ship within a day and I get it in Ventura in about a week.

I have gotten all of my stuff in about a week. Usually they responded to my emails and calls quickly.

Just got a voice mail from them . . . is seems the are too "chicken" to ship to Oakland. Even though it is legal and other suppliers will. Time to cancel the order in protest.

This is the Oakland code that they are probably "concerned" about . . .

Depending on how you read it . . . you can go either way. But this line "ammunition vendors within the City" makes me feel that since they are out of state and city . . . there is no issue. I have contacted the NRA about this and there are similar pending cases in progress [to kill this type of "law"].

In fact, I am 99% sure that there are NO Ammo Vendors still located in Oakland anyway. The City/Island of Alameda's Big 5 carries it . . . so it's not hard or far for the "criminals" to acquire anyway. So it's a BS law.

I might add . . . "technically" I ordered this ammo from my iPhone while I was in Florida and only had it delivered to Oakland. So they did NOT SELL IT TO ME IN OAKLAND

I would still contact WeaponsWorld on Calguns. They may work it out, and they have great prices on the MFS ammo. The $10 flat rate shipping is great.

Reading this it looks like Oakland requires all ammo transactions to be face to face. That is probably why weaponsworld can't ship to you.

That being said . . . If they were to set-up a SKYPE account and had a Face-to-Face Video conference purchase. We would technically be within the wording . . . they did not say physically face to face

Update: Have had correspondence with WW and sent them the link. They are looking into it.
