    Old Ammo and gunsmith tools

    Good morning everyone.

I recently came into possesion of some old ammunition and misc. gun supplies that I am attempting to sell for my mom. If anyone has any idea on values, or how I might go about determining value and selling these items it would be greatly appreciated. He is an overview of what we have, along with a link to my FLICKR account where you can see some pictures.

The pics I have are to big to post, which is why I used a reputable picture hosting company. for all the other wonderful people who might be willing to help out a little here is another link in case flickr offends...

Flicker will resize the photos for you. Just post in the ammo for sale forum, collection for sale $500, offers accepted.

I have dialup so it is not convenient to wait for photo loading - but the photo I looked at appeared to be older shotshell loading tooling -- might be of collector interest.
The mould appeared to be a very old mould as well - perhaps it has a number on it that would help to identify.

Lots of Mom N Pop gun shops are collectors of this type of old ammo. If there are any around you, might give that a try. As well as posting for sale here.

Try searching www.gunbroker.com for similar items for an estimate of their value.

You might get more interest over at the CastBoolits Swappin & Sellin forum.

If you want to maximize your cash return from selling this stuff, you will have to do a lot of legwork to get it truely identified and a value set to each item.
Mom & Pop do not stay in business giving you more than 30-40 percent of LOW market value. Not too many folks can resist buying for a song, selling for symphony.
I have been working on the odd bits and pieces from a friends estate for several years gettiing stuff identified, valued, and sold.
