Looks like it might save a little time and get you in the ball park. I don't load .38s or .44 specials but if I did, I'd probably just drop the dies and adjust the measure as usual.

The "problem" with the Dillon is that you don't have the convenience of die bushings and really need to have separate tool heads to avoid all the die adjustments.
I assume that the main item is the shim to raise the toolhead for the longer case. It would seem better to buy another tool head and Lee dies for the money and NOT have to adjust anything.
Since you have the 650, I assume that you have purchased the case feeder? The press is a royal pain without one.

        yes it was....

I was just spitballing to see if there are/were better options than another set of dies and a toolhead.

not trying to cut corners just speed up the process. Typ. when I start reloading I'll do it all day and crank out a bunch of different rounds.

          I have a diiferent toolhead & dies for 357 & 38's. It's a quick swap!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Something about that ad said no powder changes? Sorry magnum charge in a special , not a good idea.
I just use the quick change set-up, you need another set of dies.
Set them and swap out for caliber change, check powder charges occasionally.

yeah the more I honestly thought about it the less it makes sense. If I am trying to speed up the steps I'm better off with another complete quickchange assembly.

either that or keep adjusting, I guess it really doesn't take THAT long....
