    Beware if you are reloading 45, The newly manufacture Federal 45 ammo are loaded with small primer.

      Try to reload some 45 and the sizing part was ok until trying to seat that primer. Suck big time, lucky it didn't go bang.

        Yeah, I have to pre check for primer size now....what a pain. I run a Dillon 1050 and it does everything at the same time, so you lose the feel of the priming of the cases. I have to install the primer pocket swaging attachment, something I usually try to run without, so it helps to let me know if I missed one of them cases before it hits the priming stage.

          I decided awhile ago to just lean into it.

          NT (Non Toxic) isn't going anywhere and Federal isn't the only manufacturer doing it.

          I sort by headstamp so not really a big deal. Look for *FEDERAL* for the small primer versus plain FEDERAL for the large.

          I've loaded a few batches of the SPP Federal & it works just fine.
