The thought of coming out of a range session without all your brass irks you

If youre not into revolvers, you start to like them more and more because its easy to collect your brass

you start to appreciate the cartridge more than the gun

you despise buying factory ammo, but if you have to, you buy the premium stuff with the high quality brass

.... when you invite friends to go to the range, and make sure they bring their own ammo, so you can acquire their fresh brass, well fresher than your old brass :P

I just bought my first press and I barely had it installed before I started de-priming old brass. Just waiting for bullets, primers, and powder.

The problem and the solution. I've totally switched to revolver for my casual target shooting.

When you take your first handloads to the range and before you pull the trigger you are thinking "am I going to blow my face off", if you survive you are a handloader.

                      This is true.
I'll pass a coin on the ground while out riding my bike, but I'll stop for a lead wheel weight.

...when sometimes you actually think about casting your own bullets at home!!! (i could even start casting my own fishing sinkers!)

...when shooters at the range ask you what that machine you are shooting at is? of course, it's the new shooters that ask me this

...start thinking about buying a revolver because it's easier to retrieve the brass (i know somebody posted that already)

...when you know NOT TO BUY ANOTHER PERSON'S RELOADS at a gun show because you know they probably won't work!!!

....You know you're a reloader when your wife and daughter have to wear shoes everywhere on your property, to prevent having a primer smashed into their feet.
...when your wife complains that those metal things keep getting sucked up by the vaccum cleaner from the living room carpet and it scares her.
She shows you one and it's yet another decapped primer from the giant accidental spill in the garage over 2 months ago.
But of course you say nothing...

I just got into reloading yet already own multiple dies sets for calibers I don't even shoot yet. My interest in pistols has mysteriously switched mostly to wheelguns. My only problem with shooting steel cased ammo is it sucks for reloading (I understand you can reload it, but I have no plans on doing so)

If I ever accumulate more than 20#'s of powder I expect it will be lost in a tragic boating accident.
