162 GR AMAX in 7mm-08 anyone working with this? Wondering what kind of velocity it gets?

I use it in my factory Tikka 595 for tactical long range matches. I'm using H4350 and getting about 2650 fps. It stays supersonic past 1000 yards.

I know some guys with custom barrels/chambers that are able to load it a bit longer than a factory rifle and getting 2700-2750 fps.

it's worth a try, that high BC looks good on that bullet.
