    Source for Bear Creek Bullets?

I know these guys still exist and you can still get their bullets, because I purchased some during a group buy from them a while back (The guy wasn't a calgunner though I don't think). The guy I bought them from said he knows a guy.. who knows a guy at Bear Creek, and gets them factory direct. I also had a chance to buy some more last week, but I declined because I couldn't get a confirmed delivery date, and I'm moving back to Norcal in a couple weeks.

If I do a Google search for them, a lot of really old links asking if they're still alive pop up, but no recent website or any place to order from. The Cliff's gunsmithing website has been "out of stock" for a loooong time now.

So, do any of you guys have inside information on Bear Creek that you want to share with me?

Up here in Sactown, there are a couple of places that sell them and they seem to keep them in in stock. The prices are as good or better than any mail order cast bullet prices and you don't have to buy them by the thousands to save $ either.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Well, Bay Area, which a lot of people don't consider actual Norcal. Castro Valley to be more specific.

An RO at Raahauges range in corona sells them. His name is Hawk and he works on the weekends. Tomorrow he will be at the range running his steel challenge match. I have been paying $53 per K for 9mm 125 tcfp. I am still not sure if the BC bullets work as well as MG jacketed, but BC is the best price for any bullet I have every seen listed. He buys direct from BC. You might call the range and see if you can talk to him.

I guess I'd like to find out how he's able to buy directly from Bear Creek. I wonder if you need to be some sort of dealer for their bullets or something, because I don't see them sold on popular reloading websites like MidwayUSA or Grafs.

I vaguely remember there being a phone number listed on a box of 500 bullets I had bought from a guy. Wish I saved that box...

Thanks for the tip, I may make some calls.

Edit: nvm I found a phone number. If anyone's interested in these bullets - (209)874-4322

American Shooting Center in San Diego on Ruffin Road carries them, but I dunno about shipping. You might try calling them to find out though.

Last I was there a week ago, they had some 9, 38, 40 and 45 on the shelf begging to be bought. The price IIRC, is about $55 for 155 gr 40's for instance. You gotta pay in cash too, but perhaps they can have the guy that sells them talk to you about it?

They are located east of Waterford, CA on State Hwy 132. Google Waterford, CA, expand the map, they are between Waterford and Modesto Reservoir. Call first and chances are you will be able to pick them up. I'm sure they will ship if you pay with a CC.
