Want to carry a sidearm while taking my boys deer hunting. This requires having lead-free bullets in my .45acp. Got the Barnes TAC-XP bullets but having difficulty finding a suitable load for it. Barnes supplies loads using 3 powders that I've never heard of and don't care to buy a pound of for a one time event. Does anyone have load data using WW231 with the Barnes bullet (185gr) in 45acp?

Call Barnes and ask them. That's what I've done. If they have proven data, they will share it. If they don't recommend it, I listen to them. Their bullets are not the same as heavier lead ones and take different powders to make them perform correctly.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor
