    AMERICAN EAGLE POWDER TYPE??

Does anybody know what type of powder American Eagle (Federal) uses on there rxm855 rounds? is it the same for there 55gr rounds in the black box's? It's a disc type, I know that much.

Most often enough, ammo manufactures use powders that are custom made and blended and are held secret for proprietary purposes. Powder type is unknown because it wont even have a name that we reloaders will recognize or can purchase....

I've been seeing really cheap american eagle .308 bullets everywhere and was wondering why they were so cheap. How is the quality of american eagle ammunitions and will they mess up my gun and cause poor accuracy?

The "well guarded secret" is whichever powder has the proper pressure, burning rate, and is Cheapest.

It's very likely to be WC844 (H-335), but you cannot be 100% sure. Why do you need to know?
