    Are these 45 acp?

I found these old boxes of ammo in my grandfathers garage (see pic). They appear to be .45 acp ammo and they fit my .45 magazines. They don't say 45 on them though? Has anyboy ever seen these and do you think its a bad idea to shoot them?

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Take THAT, girly wristed 10mm fanbois! See that? 11.43mm. Mine's bigger so there!

Dunno if I'd shoot those. I'm sure they're probly safe, I'd save 'em just because.

45 ACP has always been bigger than the 10mm, just not loaded to higher pressures than the 10mm. Now, if you have a 1911 with a fully supported chamber add a stiffer recoil spring, you can get some 45 Super brass and match 10mm loads.

That looks like a cool box of ammo. Why not just go and buy a box of .45acp at Walmart for $17 and keep the cool ammo?
