I'm experimenting with different target loads for my Model 19. I'm trying the Hornady 148 HBWC usually used for .38 target loads. Seat it down flush like with the .38? Suggestions are welcome.

Make it flush just like the .38's. I use the same load in .357 148 HBWC loads as my .38 loads. I taper crimp also, no need to roll crimp, as theses are low pressure rounds, and I've had no set back issues, but you can use a LIGHT roll crimp if it makes you feel better. -
You can either crimp into the cannelure or seat it flush. I like to seat them flush with a roll crimp. Not really sure if one's more accurate than the other. I only load mouse farts with mine and shoot them from a .357. They feel like 22 they're so light. I chrono'd them at 600fps.Chris
