    Hornady.

In my experience though, they're very difficult to feed compared to regular 'ol 200gr lead SWCs, at least in 1911's.

Hhhmmm ... I can't shoot lead out of my HK polygonal barrel, well they strongly suggest not doing it... I've been shooting a bunch of reloads from BulletMan911 looks like Rainier stuff and I found maybe 3 soo far where the case was bulged out...

Its just expensive to buy from MidwayUSA 1000rds @ $130 not including shipping...

SWC cut nice round holes in paper.

Any problems feeding swc in your HK? I'm thinking about trying them as well in my expert model.

I shot a few hundred rounds out of my Elite and no feeding problems. The issue is lead fouling problem that could lead to blowing the gun up as in all 'polygonal', 'hexagonal' barrels. You just have to clean the barrel well an often to remove the lead fouling.

The Oregan Trail LaserCast SWC hard cast bullets shot really well out of my Elite and USC. not much fouling either. I remember getting around 1.5" 5-shot groups at 25 yards benched.

Berry's, Ranier & X-Treme are actually plated, not jacketed. They recommend using cast bullet data for loading them. At .45ACP velocities I doubt it makes much difference. I've noticed that accuracy starts to drop off approaching FMJ loadings tho.

Hey Huckberry; cast bullets aren't those just plain lead ???

I've shot close to 1000rds of plated swc out of my 45 and I'm more accurate with these than ball rounds and the beautifull extra large holes is a plus for me... Just love them I can group 2" to 3" groups with strong hand @ 15 to 17yrds... And 3" groups weak hand @ 10 to 12yrds

This company carries Berry's and X-Treme bullets, free shipping with larger orders.
