    Load-X Ammo

Did a search and couldn't find information on Load-X reloaded ammo. Has anybody ordered tha factory reloaded ammo, specifically 9mm? If so, what do you think of it? Is it just best to get factory new ammo and leave reloaded stuff alone?

    thanks

    LoadX reloads are excellent!

I have fired 1,000+ of their relaoded ammo and havent had a single malfunction yet.

    cant beat the price either!

I tested out a 50 round bag of the 9mm 147gr reloads a few weeks back. This is my only experience with them, so take this with a grain of salt.

I was shooting them out of my Glock 19c. I was getting hit by tiny hot metal fragments as if the jacket was breaking up or getting scraped off while passing the ports in the barrel.

I'm planning to test again with a non-ported barrel next time at the range.

I've used them quite a bit. Very good quality, in my experience.

I used to use their competition loads for .45acp and .40S&W, and practice loads for 9mm and .44mag. Never a problem. I heard a few rumors about some QC problems, but never experienced any. The only "problem" I had was that one order of 200 gr .45acp SWC turned out to be too light for USPSA "major" -- turns out I ordered a bullseye load by mistake.

When I've chrono'd their stuff, it is better than MY reloads, but not as good as the best reloads or factory fresh.

One great selling point: they are willing to do custom loads if asked. For example, they're about the only ones who will load .38SuperComp to "major" for USPSA.

Fortunately I had chrono'd it the day before the match, so I ended up switching to some factory stuff. Did ok in the match, though I vaguely recall a couple of center punches to no shoots.
