O.C. Walmarts?

Which Orange County Walmarts sell ammo? I'm new to this area and am planning to load up on some. I live in Irvine and have heard of 200 round .223 Federal value packs on ar15.com. Anyone purchase these? Wouldn't mind some more 9mm and 45acp either. Thanks!

I also live in Irvine. I know that the Walmart in Huntington Beach sells ammo (near the corner of Talbert and Beach Ave.). Haven't tried any other Walmart (mainly cuz' there's none really close to Irvine).

the walmarts in orange mall, anaheim, and westminster all sell remington umc in .223

I know they sell ammo for sure, I buy my 9mm from there. They have the winchester white box 100 value pack for about 16 dollars including tax. I am not too sure about any 100 rnd .223 boxes though. Let me know if they have any. Also there is another Walmart that is located off Beach Blvd. and the 22 freeway that also sells ammo.

I didn't know this but there is a newer Walmart in Foothill Ranch. They also sell ammo. I called up a few Walmarts around here and asked about the Federal value packs. Nobody knew what I was talking about. They all did however have the Rem/UMCs for $6.47 a box (of 20). I am going to go pick up a bunch very soon. Thanks all!

You would have to talk to a manager and give him the code # for the store to special order them. I think that is what I read on ar15 if I am correct. The people who it worked for are located in the midwest i think.

The wallmart in North OC (Brea I think) sells ammo. The prices will make you want to shop somewhere else though.

The one in Foothill does sell ammo, however, a fairly small selection I feel.
There is also one in Laguna Niguel they seem to also have a great deal more than Foothill and OnTarget range is pretty close by there

the foothill ranch walmart isn't really a new store at all....I wotked there way back in high school when they still sold guns there!

Haha guess that guy that told me was "misinformed." Well it's new to me! I'm going to try to order some Federal value packs next time I'm there. Hope it works!

the federal 200 round value pack walmart number is 998418 the upc is 29464509810 good luck in trying to get the store manager to order it I ended up calling the 800 walmart number and I'm waiting on a call back

I don't know if ordering ammo would work in other locations. Most Walmarts in CA don't sell ammo because of local ordinances. The one in Rosemead is a minute drive from my house and they don't sell ammo.

Yeah I used to live about 10 minutes from the Rosemead location. It was a struggle for them even to build that Walmart with the opposition. When they had the grand opening I was impressed until I hit the sporting good section. No ammo! I used to work in Santa Fe Springs and that Walmart didn't have it either! I ended up going back to good old Duarte. Ah I miss those days of cheap ammo and the SGVGC.

I went to the Orange location and bought a good amount of Rem/UMC today. No go on the Federal Value packs. Oh well, picked up some more 9 and 45 too. The two guys at the counter were pretty cool. Got a lot of strange looks as usual though!

The one at the village at orange mall has a bunch of ammo. Good luck getting anyone to help you get it though....... hope you have plenty of free time.
