Anyone experience this recently (Midway BS)?

Tried to order some projectiles from Midway (40gr .224).

Anyone know a workaround or an alternative source (with similar prices)?

Powder Valley is way cheaper but out of stock right now.

Midway ships bullets to here (Los Angeles County) without any issues. My only experience with that is with Gander Mountain. They would ship me ammo, but not bullets.

Funny. I've never had any problem with Midway shipping to SF.

Midway wont ship ammo and any reloading components to SF. Try grafs, wideners, PVI, or anyone else.

Me neither, that's why I'm so surprised. I was wondering if their policy changed recently.

Midway is a bunch of MALARKEY...!

And so now they get NO business from me, or any of my clients... NONE...!

I used to be able to get ammo and components from Midway.

In the last year or so they will not ship ammo or components to my SF zip code.

Not a big deal as they are rarely the price leader.

I quit buying primers and powder online, when you have to pay the Hazmat fee. I pay almost twice as much to have my primers shipped than what they are worth.

You need to buy more primers and powder to make it worth it. Im talking like 15K primers and 55lbs of powder. That was my last order and I got some stuff for some shooting buddys and shared the cost. It was well worth it..

You could buy pull downs from Elite ammo for $15 per 250ct. Same bullet but a blue tip.

It costs the same fee for 1K primers or 100K primers.

For me the break even point for hazmat just for powder is 3lbs, buying it from Graf and Sons. Any additional powder saves me roughly $8.00 per lb and primers are $7.00 per 1k less than buying them locally.

                            Zircon John,

Take all that frustration and anger and lay it on the busy-bodies suffering from terminal recto-cranial inversion on the SF city council. Midway would gladly sell you anything they can and getting mad at them for something they are being forced into is not helpful for anyone working on 2A freedoms.

Well, plenty of companies ship components to SF. I think Midway is erring on the side on caution on this one.
