    I need reloading data 223

    I want to reload for my carbon 15 . I have heard that you don't want to load hot because you could over work the bolt. I tried RL15 24.1 gr/ 50 gr vmax. Does anyone have some data they can share with me.

    Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

    Go to Hogdon.com they have a place there on the home page that will let you see some of the loads for different cartridges using hogdon powder. Other than that I use;

    24.7gr of wcc 846 (BLC-2) for 75gr hornady match
    24.5gr of wcc 846 for Nosler 80gr Match
    24.5gr of wcc 844 ( H335 ) for 69gr Sierra Match
    25gr of 844 for any 62gr bullet

    I won't shoot anything smaller unless there's a war or I break down in Gardena California after 6PM
    I won't be wronged
    I won't be insulted
    And I won't be laid a hand on.
    I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.....John Wayne

      I reloaded 500 rounds for my Carbon15. I used Hornady 55 gr. FMJBT bullets and 25 gr. of BL-C2. Works nice in my rifle. The 1.6g scoop from Lee is right at 25 gr with BL-C2 and its enough powder that it fills about to the bottom of the neck of the case so you can't double up on the load.

          I don't load .223 but I did see this in a Dillon magazine. You may find what you are looking for there.
