Shell holder for 45ACP w/SPP

Hello,

I want to start reloading 45ACP and want to stick with SPP as that is what I currently use with the 9mm and 38/357 I load now. Sometime back I read a post that listed a shell holder that would hold a 45ACP but has a SPP hole. Can anyone tell me which shell holder would work?

last time i checked on my press all the holes in the middle are the same its the primer arm that is different

On my press (hornady lnl ap) the hole is the same, just have to swap out the primer tube and feeder ramp thing for large/small.

He could do what I'm doing: buy Federal 45acp ammo from Walmart and save the brass.

Thanks for the replys guys. I will try it with what I have. There is plenty of SPP 45ACP brass being sold and traded and I guess being given away. I am happy to take any!

There are guys selling spp 45 by the thousands on gunbroker. A year ago it was harder to find in large quantities, but now its very plentiful. No problem buying 3-5K at a time.

My Lee and RCBS shellholders have the same size hole.

Hmph.... I'll trade my SPP WinCleen & Federal NT for your LPP brass. I have zero problem at all finding SPP .45...

As for the OP, I run a Lee Classic Turret & just need to change the primer arm & the primer feeder itself.
