I recently purchased several thousand rounds from tactical ammunition.com. (on the recommendation from a CG'er) I bought 1K rds .223 "blems"(factory seconds) and 1K rds .40S&W once fired factory reloads.
I have to say - DON'T. This stuff is unbelievably bad!. I had to return the .223's because the primers kept coming out and jamming my Colt HBAR (RAW)
I then tried the .40 and I couldn't believe it. When shooting at 16 yds benched with my Vector MP5-40 w/ an aimpoint red dot. With the Tactical ammo, the shots were literally all over the paper. Almost completely random! I then used the same rifle with WOLF and blew a single large hole in the the paper (as one should with a benched carbine at 16 yds lol) In any event, the rounds looked fine, but if I hadn't seen it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it. I shot several mags through the weapon with similar results. (back goes the ammo)
To be fair - Tactical Ammunition has been great. Each time I just e-mailed them and told them to send a return label for me to return the ammo. They do and they issued refunds in a timely manner. Just a PITA.
