Anyone currently reloading .260 rem. Not as much data in books for this caliber. Going to do some experimenting with 139gr scenar and 140gr berger. Having a tough time choosing powder. This caliber seems to like more velocity, but not sure how far to push it with the pressure in the semi-auto. At what point is the gas system at risk? 60,000psi seems to be "industry standard" maximum, any input is welcome. I may even drop bullet weight, but the BC on these two bullets is to good to ignore. Any input is appreciated.

I shoot 260 Rem thru a R&D Guardian bolt gun here is my loads
260 Rem = 44gr of RL19 120gr SP
260 Rem = 43gr of RL19 140gr SP
Sub MOA for sure, half MOA if I do my part (which is not often), these loads are about 1.5-2grain below max, in a Semi I would try it with at least another 1-1.5gr less.
H4350 is the Bomb for this load, I just happen to have a ton of RL19, once I finish off the powder (4lbs to go).. switching over to H4350 (Get Hogdgon DO NOT get IMR 4350)...Comment

A lot of guys on NCPPRC shoot .260s (though mostly bolt-guns), might find more responses there.
Like Bongos says, start low and work up and watch your primers.
