SF Bay .303 reloaders check in

Anybody reloading 303? I've thought about it, I think I have everything I need but the dies & bullets. These would be shot in an Enfield of course.

    .310 bullets I believe.

So what components does anybody use?
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

When I reloaded 303, I used cast boolit 311299 sized .313 -- forget the powder, probably about 30gr of ball c.
I think the most important thing when reloading 303 is to keep the brass with each specific weapon and neck size only.
303's generally have such generous chambers full length sizing usually shortens case life greatly.

that about covers it. IMR4895 was what I liked for it last time I did it but I like IMR4895 for almost every non-magnum calibre I load for.

http://www.303british.com/id28.html has many answers and good info.

Slug your bore. I have .303's that have bore sizes .311, .312 and .313. I use the .312 bullets and they all shoot well. I have to believe the .310 bullets are a little too small for the .303.

Call me up Flinchman I can lend you my dies and have a crapload of projectiles. Heck I might even be convinced to set up the progressive and run a batch for myself.

I am using 311 for my Enfield. Here is a good link to start with.

+1 for neck sizing. I use RCBS dies for my .303 loading and a Lee FCD, which I really like. My best results have come from SMK HPBT .311 174 grain bullets. It's not a difficult caliber to reload for at all, but neck sizing will pay dividends.
                Have fun,
