    222 mag/204 ruger

I am having trouble locating 222mag brass. I did some reading on the 204 ruger and it sounds like the 204 was designed from the 222mag. the only changes I can find is the 20cal head and a 30deg. neck change.
Any one thing I would have any issues with sizing 204 brass in the 222mag die then fire form to pop the neck angle back?

I can't see any problem. Fire forming shoulders is common practice. The neck sizing isn't that far so I can't see it thickening the case at the mouth to an ugly level. I don't know about the actual case to case specifications so I can't speak to the specifics of it but I can't see a problem wiht your plan to make child from parent.

Why don't you buy .204 ruger brass instead of reforming and trimming?
The brass is easy to find on the web.
I roll my own as well.
