    Glock 20 Doubletap ammo

Have you noticed certain DT loads being more accurate from your Glock 20 than others.

At $1.00 per round, you probably won't find too many people that have shot the whole spectrum of DT's 10mm ammo. I gave up on DT after I chrono'd their 200gr WFNGC load. They advertise 1300fps/4.6" Barrel, but only got 1215fps/6" Barrel. If you look around, you'll find people posting the same results from all DT's 10mm offerings. Most chrono over 100fps slower than advertised.

What are you planning on using the ammo for?

Buffalo Bore & Swamp Fox are 2 companies that make full power 10mm, and their ammo actually does what the box says it will.

Is the DT owner on here? What does he say about the difference between advertised and actual?

I don't think so, but he used to post in the 10mm Reloading Forum on Glocktalk. I believe he tried to say it was because of different conditions, like elevation, temp, humidity etc. Even drastic differences in all those things combined should not produce the differences in velocity many people's testing shows. If DT's 200gr WFNGC was supposed to get 1300fps out of a 4.6" barrel, that means it should get ATLEAST 1400fps out of a 6" barrel. It only got 1215fps/6" barrel, so that's a 200fps drop from advertised velocity. I know my chrono was working properly, because I did a lot of ammo/handload testing that day. Everything else chrono'd as expected.

They also started loading Montana Gold Bullets instead of XTP's in some of their loads, and didn't let anyone in on this info. Guys bought what they expected to be 180gr XTP's, and ended up with MG's @ $1 a round. MG's are a great competition bullet, but will not expand as you'd expect a SD round to.
