Experience with Alliant American Select Powder?

I bought a sealed 1# container at a good price. I have heard that it's very clean burning. I find load data very sparse for this powder. Has anyone used this powder? It was conceived originally as a shotgun powder, but has found acceptance as a pistol powder. If I understand correctly, "Clays" had similar origins.

I am just starting to reload commerically cast lead 9mm (115g and 147g) and .45 ACP (150, 185 and 200 g SWC).

I'd appreciate any opinions as well as successful recipes, if any.

I'm using it in .38 special light to medium loads and it has worked well, cleaner burning, less felt recoil, and less case soot/blowby than TiteGroup.
I'm going to load some .45 ACP next. I haven't seen any load data for 9mm though.

Hornady's Seventh Edition Handbook of Cartridge Reloading has a LOT of info for American Select in .45ACP and .38special/.357 (lead), none for 9mm.
