Never heard of 445 ammo? If you got a good price then buy it.

Im just like you. I only shot there .22 ammo and I can remember the burning powder being stinky. Not to sure about Mexican made ammo. I do have some of there .45ACP brass mixed up in my stock and never had a problem reloading it or noticing it being out of spec...

Ran a few boxes through my .45 before I started reloading...all went bang and hit the target. Didn't notice any issues. Bought it for the same reason...comparatively inexpensive.

I did a ballistic test using pork a while back with the 9mm version and it made a nasty hole then 3 smaller holes where the pieces were tumbling! I my opinion it's a nasty round and great for indoor HD use.

Unless your bullseye shooting it is just fine. Its accurate and clean enough to compare to the other boxed plinking rounds out there. Good to go.

Not sure if you reload but I have run across some of that ammo that now has SPP.

The only Aguila I have fired are primer only 22's. Great to shoot into a phone book and very quiet. Like a pellet gun and fine for practice at close range in the living room. I've never fired the aguila 45. But all of the guys I have met use a few FMJ's to clean the barrel after shooting any Mexican ammo.

Used Aguila .22lr in our Thompson Contenders for a long time. Shot pretty well.
